BACKGROUND STORY

since i was a little girl, ive always dreamed about being a cheerleader. watching the pep squad perform on the stage gives me chills. I was too shy to join the team at first, luckily my family and friends were there pushing me to reach my dream. i was in 10th grade when i finally joined the team. and honestly it wasnt that easy being part of the squad.

earlier this year, my coach asked me to try out joining team Pilipinas. i was really shocked the moment we were talking about that because that was just only my dream. i was so nervous trying out, but my captain told me, "mind over matter." when i was on the mats already, i just trained normally just like how we train in school.
weeks after the tryouts, the line up for team pilipinas was released. i was anxious that time because i dont wanna disappoint my family and myself of course because this is my dream. when i saw my surname on the list, i was literally crying my eyes out knowing ill be representing my country in the whole world.
it really makes my heart so happy knowing that i was able to achieve my dream. i thought i wouldn't be able to reach my cheerleading dream, but here i am reminiscing my first goal in my bucket list. we weren't able to get the gold, but i really am thankful that i had the opportunity to represent my country in the whole world.
without the love and support of my family, i wouldnt be able to reach my dream in life. im really thankful for people who was there since i wasjust dreaming to be a cherleader. now, i can finally say i made it.
